Mark II presentation is in about 3 weeks and we are required to present the almost finished prototype.
Here are my plans:
Through my user testing sessions, I came to the realisation that I do not need a mat on the wall. Since there is no real interaction with the mat, it is simply unnecessary to use one, plus it's a lot more challenging to hide the electronics in a subtle way. Therefore I decided instead of a mat, to use a panel that could be attached to the wall. The panel will contain the lights and all the electronics needed.
Use neopixels LEDs. Neopixels are really cool as you can control the behaviour of each one of the LEDs to craft some really elegant light movements.
Learn how to code the neopixels. Eeerm yeah. Hopefully, that won't be too difficult. They are coded with Arduino, just in a slightly different way than normal LEDs.
Design and 3D print the cases that will contain my electronics.
Create wireframes for a website to enable users to choose their settings.
Make the website.
Make a floor piece, for upper body exercises. I will simply buy a mat and hack into it with my chosen electronics.
Branding. I have created a few logos I just need to finalise them.
So yeah, overall I have 3 elements to make for my project and not enough time to do everything. The only thing that is worrying me is 3D printing as it can take time to print and I don't have a lot of experience with it.
For now, I am just making lists every day and trying not to stress.
